  • Address traffic concerns associated with family and community safety.

  • Increase accessibility of transit in order to cut down on vehicle emissions.

  • Protecting residents from "reno-victions".

  • Addressing the town’s need for safe and affordable housing.

  • Amending the Official Community Plan to protect existing affordable housing and promote the development of housing cooperatives.

Infrastructure

  • Protect View Royal’s green spaces ensuring our residents have safe and clean access to the outdoors.

Bio

Nathan Daisley was born and raised in View Royal, and enjoyed the tight-knit community of a housing co-op. Daisley has always valued community building, and began his volunteer work with his parents at the age of 2 with Child Find BC. Since then, he has done volunteer work for Youth for Change and Inclusion, Best buddies, Grad Council, and the UVic Undergraduate Student Elections.

Daisley has always enjoyed taking leadership roles within his communities. He has worked as Western Canada Co-ordinator for Students Offering Support, a national charity that supports students through tutoring and building educational infrastructure. He also worked as staff for the Youth Excellence Society.

Politically active, Daisley has worked on 6 campaigns in varying positions: 2015 Federal, 2017 Provincial, 2017 by-election, 2018 University of Victoria UVSS Elections, 2018 Ontario Elections, and the 2018 Municipal election. While Daisley states that politics are both “[his] passion and [his] hobby”, Daisley also enjoys hiking with his dog, debate club, and quality time with close friends and family.
